The Thriving Streets of Culture and Creativity that is Liverpool February 26, 2018
Liverpool started life as a small riverside village but soon grew to be one of the most aspiring cities in the UK. Its growth was a result of the port which boomed during the 17th and 18th century making it very accessible for international citizens.
By 1850, one quarter of the population was Irish-born residents. Chinese immigration was also significant. Liverpool is home to the oldest Chinese community in Europe, numbering around 30,000.
By the end of the century Liverpool had undergone an interesting regeneration scheme. This resulted in the thriving area that is now known as the docks including key attractions such as the Tate Liverpool, The Beatles story and the Maritime Museum.
Liverpool has become a landmark for historical and fresh architectural development throughout the years and has embraced the old and the new throughout the city. “Liverpool is an outstanding example of a world mercantile port city, which represents the early development of global trading and cultural connections throughout the British Empire.”
The wealth therefore generated leading to the construction of grand civic buildings, designed to allow the local administrators to “run the city with pride” and that’s what we at Red Hot Couture plan to do.
Liverpool has become one of the most vibrant, exciting and stylish cities in the UK so it is no surprise that back in 2008 Liverpool was the first city in England to be named European Capital of Culture and has become one of the most sought after and friendly cities within the UK.
We have been looking at the winner of the North-West’s fashion designer 2015 which was Erica Wildflower with her collection ‘Diamonds Are Forever’. They are an independent online retailer, selling impeccably produced women’s vintage style clothing internationally, inspired from the 1920’s – 1980’s, with a touch of Marilyn Monroe in every collection.
So it is no surprise that this Marilyn Monroe lover is keen to embrace the curves that our Red Hot Couture girls have to offer and will be creating exclusive designs to suit each of our body shapes.
It’s also no shock to anyone familiar with Liverpool that this city has a very strong bond with the Irish as suggested earlier by the 1850’s one quarter of residents were in fact Irish therefore many people you meet do tend to be from an Irish heritage.
So we at Red Hot Couture have teamed up with the most sought after curve friendly product that has been revolutionised from Italian workout gear to trendy must have jeans. Freddy pants/jeans have been created to enhance body shape which is our ultimate goal at Red Hot Couture! We will now be exclusively selling the world famous – Freddy Pants.
These jeans have been designed to enhance your shape and emphasise the curves of your bottom, waist and thigh providing the perfect shaping effect making these jeans your official wardrobe favourite.
